Convergente Lab is our biotech innovation hub in Distrito Tlalpan. We provide the strategic infrastructure, capacities, and capital necessary for deep tech startups to mitigate risk, validate their scientific developments, and confidently scale toward the global market from Mexico City.
The journey from a successful proof of concept in the laboratory to commercial validation is the most critical stretch for a science-based startup. In Latin America, biotech teams face a fragmented ecosystem characterized by a scarcity of equipped laboratories and a strong risk aversion from traditional capital.
Convergente Lab solves this market failure by transforming biological uncertainty into storable, computable, and investable scientific evidence. We operate in the execution phase of the technology cycle (Build-Test), functioning as the platform that eliminates material and financial entry barriers to consolidate high-survival companies.
Core Assets
Residency Program
It is the operating system of the hub and the central axis that gives purpose to the infrastructure. A two-year acceleration process designed to transition projects from the proof-of-concept stage (TRL 4) to pilot scale (TRL 7).
The program bridges the talent and business management gap by guiding founders through executives in residence. Our team works alongside resident startups to strenghten their capacities to scale.
Collaboratory
Built upon the proven operational capabilities and technical expertise of Noxgen Labs, the next milestone of the platform deploys an advanced shared BSL-2 laboratory in Distrito Tlalpan, Mexico City. This space consolidates an inventory of high-end equipment and fully absorbs the operational load for deep tech startups.
By eliminating the need for prohibitive CAPEX, we allow startups to invest their seed capital exclusively in experimentation and data generation.
Catalytic Fund
It is the impact capital vehicle responsible for providing the financial oxygen during the residence at the collaboratory. This fund focuses its resources exclusively on financing the execution of pilot batches and commercial proofs of concept for resident startups.
Its function is to ensure the fulfillment of technical milestones and connect founders with industry partners, mitigating risks and building the direct bridge to the Series A round.
